The main rails, top rails and slotted top posts in our pergolas kits are made from quality planed all round softwood and are suitable for painting to a colour of your choice. They have also been preservative treated with Tanalith E green for longevity. Garden pergolas can either be secured in the ground; we recommend the use of 2 bags of Postcrete per slotted post. Or you can fix them to concrete, patios or decking with our Bolt down kit option. Pergola timber can also be painted to a colour of your choice.
