Terms and Conditions Shipping & Delivery We offer a 3-10 day standard delivery. The number of days stated are Working Days and DO NOT include weekends or bank holidays. The number of days to delivery do not include the first day of purchase, weekends or bank holidays.
Please note - we are unable to make deliveries between 23rd December and 4th January. This may extend your order delivery time. We will aim to deliver any day from the date of order up to the stated lead time. Small and compact deliveries are defined as orders which can fit into a small box or envelope. Large and bulky orders are defined as orders which cannot fit into a small box or envelope. We are unable to offer an express delivery on big and bulky orders to Scotland or Devon/ Cornwall.
We will email you to confirm the date of your order - please add us to your address book to prevent your delivery email being sent to your junk folder. Our FREE delivery offers are standard delivery only. All delivery dates are estimates, we cannot guarantee delivery times. We will try our best to meet these estimates but we will not be held responsible if there is a failure to deliver by the estimated date. We are not able to advise or agree delivery times. Checkout discounts are applied automatically and will only apply to non sale items. All deliveries are subject to stock availability. Longer lead times on products will be stated on the product information page. We do not deliver on Bank Holidays or weekends. All deliveries are curb side only, we cannot deliver into, through or to the rear of your property. We are only able to deliver to the mainland UK.
We will advise you if we cannot deliver to you within 30 days of when we receive payment from you and give you the choice of waiting or cancelling your order. If you chose to cancel your order we will give you a full refund for the items cancelled.
We strongly recommend that you do not book tradesmen until your order has been received and checked by you. We cannot be held responsible for any third party charges for deliveries not received or not checked upon receipt. You are responsible for checking your delivery against the Wooden Supplies delivery note. All delivery discrepancies must be reported to Wooden Supplies within 3 days of receipt of your order – email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We endeavour to make one single delivery to you wherever possible, therefore for orders with multiple items the longest lead time will apply to the whole order. If part of the order is delivered directly from our supplier, one single delivery will not be possible. All deliveries must be signed for unless you specify otherwise with your order. If your consent is given to leave the order, our responsibility ends with delivery.
Due to insurance guidelines, delivery personnel are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the products is responsible for any additional lifting once the delivery has been made.
Returns & Replacements Please note that wood is a natural product and therefore it is subject to splitting, cracking and warping especially in extremes of weather. This is not a fault of the product, it is a feature of timber. Cracks are only considered a fault and a structural issue if they go through 3/4 of the thickness of the timber.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order after it has been received or despatched, please follow the procedure set out below:
Should you wish to return products bought from us, we will be happy to provide a refund or exchange provided it is in fully re-saleable condition and is within 30 days of your receipt of goods. Non-account, cash purchases require a receipt for all refunds.
If we find that the product returned to us is in damaged condition and unsuitable for resale, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or to deduct up to 50% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part refund, full refund or product exchange.
Ex- display products are sold as seen and may NOT be returned.
Made to measure products may NOT be returned unless they are deemed to be faulty or damaged in transit and notice of intention to return and notification of the defect must be advised within 30 days of receipt of goods. We require return of the products within 30 days of the refund request being made.
Free of charge items purchased/received as part of a special offer promotion can only be refunded if the whole order is returned within 30 days of your receipt of goods. You can arrange for your returns to be collected by contacting our Customer Service Team on 01604 581444 or by email to email@example.com stating the order number, item number, stating the reason for the return and whether you want a refund or a replacement.
The collection will be free of charge if the products were delivered to you in error or in a damaged or faulty condition. If the products are no longer required the standard delivery charges apply to the collection /replacement plus a restocking charge of 20% of the return items value, on returns over the total value of £50 both of which are required before the goods can be collected. A restocking charge of 20% of the return items value, on returns over the total value of £50 also applies to items returned by you to our shop and is required before the refund can be processed.
We will refund the price of the item to you or exchange the goods if they were delivered to you in error or in a damaged or faulty condition, once it is received by us and provided we are advised of the proposed return, reason for return or notification of the defect within 30 days of receipt of the goods. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods. Your refund will be processed within 30 days of our receipt of the goods and will be refunded to the account used to purchase the product. This does not affect your statutory rights. Products purchased online at www.woodensupplies.co.uk can be returned by you to our shop for a refund or exchange and will be subject to the above terms. Wooden Gates Warranty - we offer a 10 year warranty on all hardwood and softwood gates manufactured by us only. The product page will specify if a warranty is valid on the product. If the warrany is not stated on the product page then it is not valid on that product. Once the order is received by us, we will reply to you via email to confirm receipt of your order. At this point we are accepting your offering of purchase and we reserve the right to reject any order for any reason. All orders are subject to our terms and conditions. All orders are subject to stock availability. If we are unable to supply any products on your order, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that an out-of-stock product is part of an order and we cannot contact you, we will send the products we have in stock and refund the purchase price of any unavailable product if payment has been taken. All orders must be paid in full, for all products and any delivery charges before delivery will be made. As a responsible retailer, Wooden Supplies understand that minors can incorrectly use some DIY products. We do not knowingly supply to children. Orders may only be placed by persons over the age of 18 or over. Payment, Pricing & Promotions The price you pay for the goods you order is as shown at the checkout which is inclusive of VAT at the current rate and any delivery charges selected by you. The delivery prices shown are only available for orders placed online at wooden.supplies.co.uk. Please ask for details of delivery costs if ordering in store or over the phone. Our VAT number is 195 4681 65. We reserve the right to change the price of our product ranges and delivery charges in line with market trends. We will confirm the prevailing price with you before we accept your order. We are not obliged to accept your order for such goods and may decline it or limit the order quantity. We have a large number of products available for purchase and therefore there may from time to time be a discrepancy with the current prices stated. The prices of the products will be checked as part of the dispatch process and if the prices are lower than the stated price, you will be charged at the lower rate. If a products correct price is higher than the stated price, we will at our discretion either contact you for instructions before dispatching or reject your order and notify you of the reason for rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have confirmed your order.
